I missed prompting and signal boosting for Magpie Monday so I wrote a quick gift poem for dialecticdreamer. Which she requested that I post to the blog so here it is.

“Surprise”

Something happens, it is

Unexpected but sometimes that is a

Really good thing. It could be

People you have missed calling out of the blue or

Receiving a 'just because' gift. Or

It could be something nice done just to see you

Smile. And

Everyone deserves to smile.
