It's always struck me as wrong that we tell people that it's not going hurt someday or hurt less one day - someone they love is gone, how is that NOT supposed to always hurt? How is that ever going "get better?" It can't. And it's not right to force someone to pretend it doesn't hurt just because it "happened a long time ago."
