That said, if Ashley's venom can be disarmed, it's 3D structure would lend itself to incorporating novel pigments into nano-sized bucky-balls.
Imagine make-up with the sorts of colours you find on tropical butterfly wings... or with timed decay molecules so it changes colour over time. Or thermally metamorphic pigments that change colour with skin temperature. [because the molecules twist into new configurations].
