“Community Resources”
UNITY RESOURCE CENTER
The Unity Resource Center aims for a better tomorrow by strengthening today's communities. To that end, we provide:
{} Accommodations: We offer emergency accommodations to those in need for a safe place to stay and work with other resources in the community to help one discover a more permanent solution.
{} Classes: Certification classes in physical and emotional first aid, deescalation and conflict resolution tactics are regularly offered but the Center always has a shifting schedule for other learning opportunities (see list and schedule for full details).
{} Counselors and/or Mediators Upon Request.
{} Rooms: We have several meeting rooms designed to provide a safe, neutral, and private space to work on relationships or resolve conflicts. We also have several quiet rooms for anyone who needs them.
{} Support Groups (see list and schedule for full details)
{} Other Resources: EFA and Conflict Resolution Workbooks and other similar aids.
1-555-LISTEN2
Because sometimes you just need someone to listen.
AIN'T SO DIFFERENT
Retired superhero Rocket, superhera Sparkler, supervillains Flotsam and Jetsam discuss their experiences wearing the cape, how to avoid unnecessary collateral damage, how it is possible to be rivals without your dominance fights always getting out of hand.
“After a while, you might even become friends.” – Jetsam.
NOTES:
1-555 is used for fictional telephone numbers. Thanks for the information, ysabetwordsmith.
Thank you!
